Join 93.1 Doug-FM for the 2013 Fight For Air Climb Detroit Sunday, March 3 at the Detroit Renaissance Center. Each year, too many lives are lost to lung disease and this is your chance to climb, raise money and make an impact in their honor. Join the Fight For Air Climb and make a commitment to fight lung disease so everyone can breathe easier - including you!
Fight For Air Climbs are unique fundraising events for the American Lung Association. They usually happen in prominent skyscrapers, stadiums or arenas and involve climbing multiple steps and flights of stairs. Teams and individual participants can use the event as a fitness target, as a race, with you challenging yourself or you racing against other people, or as a great way to be active and meet new friends. Your participation will raise the funs necessary to provide life saving education, research and advocacy so we can beat lung disease and soon find a cure.
The 2013 Fight For Air Climb Detroit is being help at the Detroit Renaissance Center. The Full Climb is 70 floors for a total of 1, 035 stairs and is timed. The Half Climb is 40 floors for a total of 585 stairs and is untimed. Registration is going on now, be sure to register online by February 24! After online registration closes you can still register as a walk-on on Climb Day. Walk on registration runs from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. the day of the climb in the GM Wintergarden.
